Lubbock Classical Academy. Opening 2019 school year. Tuition-free public charter school. Grades K-5 and adding a grade each year until the school is K-12

Mission: To provide hope for students through innovative, character-based, personalized learning environments where they are academically successful and develop into lifelong learners.
Our program reflects the motto of Charlotte Mason, "Education is an Atmosphere, a Discipline, and a Life.
Our program includes a strong liberal arts program, with an emphasis on American civics, art, music, math, science, and Latin.
Our schools serve in loco parentis - in partnership with parents.
We believe moral education must be the primary goal of teaching.
We believe the minds and imaginations of children deserve a generous curriculum upon which to feast.
Classical educators teach what they want to know, when they want to know it and when they are developmentally ready. This is called The Trivium: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric stages of development.
Our curriculum: Core Knowledge, Spalding Phonics, Living/Rich Literature & Poetry, Recitations, Handwriting/Cursive, Transcription, Classic Canon, Geography, Grammar, Art & Music, Math in Focus, Science, Latin
