Lubbock Swim Club.

We are a year round competitive swim team. We take kids starting at age six. Swimmers must be able to swim 25 yards freestyle non-stop and demonstrate knowledge of at least two other competitive strokes (butterfly, breaststroke or backstroke) to make the team. We have 8 different practice groups that range from beginner to elite swimmers. I will stick with beginner information.

We practice 2-5 days a week, year-round. Practices range from 30-60 minutes. During the summer we practice between 4-6 pm and from 5:30-7:30 pm during the school year.

We host several meets at our pool but also travel to other cities in West Texas. We have a yearly fundraiser requirement per family, as well as a Parent Volunteer Program to help run our home meets and annual awards banquet.

Yearly registration is $92.00. The bulk of this fee goes to United States Swimming, our governing body. Monthly dues range from $50-$80. We occasionally have orders for t-shirts, shorts, window decals, team suits, etc...
