Wed. 7/4 from 7:30 & 8:30am: Yankee Doodle Dash (5K and 1 Mile) and Sparkler Sprint (100 Yard Dash - free for kids 6-12).Start/Finish Line in MacKenzie Park. (Cesar E. Chavez Drive and Canyon Lake Road). 7:30 AM (5K and 1 Mile); 8:30 am (Sparkler Sprint).
The 4th on Broadway is a treasured tradition for families on the South Plains. Go back in time to the Spirit of 1776 with the Yankee Doodle Dash (5K or 1 mile course) that will take participants along the parade route through MacKenzie Park.
The Sparkler Sprint (FREE for kids, ages 6 - 12) will have the children kicking up some fireworks between the crowds as they line the streets before the parade. Race day registration only.
