Extended to May 23, 2016 - 5 pm CST. The cost for camp, including all meals, activities, and housing is $150 per camper (a $900 value) - a price made possible by the support from the Charles Schwab Foundation.

The Texas Tech Financial Planning Academy combines the summer fun that students crave with the real world financial knowledge they need. It also gives students the chance to meet new friends, explore career options, and win scholarships and prizes - all in just one week!

The Texas Tech Financial Planning Academy, sponsored by Charles Schwab Foundation, is a one-of-a-kind summer program that offers rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors education and training in the core areas of personal financial management. Participants will gain firsthand experience working as part of a team during a week of events and competitions designed to increase financial knowledge and know-how. These events will include working on a financial planning case study, developing a financial plan, and participating in other competitions for scholarships and prizes. In addition to promoting financial literacy among America's youth, the camp will provide insight into the Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) industry and show students the value of financial planning as a profession.

All students will be housed on-campus at Texas Tech University in Gordon Hall. Every student is required to stay in the residence hall.
