Fri. 12/9 from 6-7:30pm: Candlelight Pre-Party Weihnachtsfest. A Celebration of German Christmas Traditions.

With many of its traditions influencing the modern North American iteration of Christmas, Weihnachtsfest is a Christmas celebration throughout German speaking Europe. During our family friendly celebration of Weihnachtsfest, children and adults can create a handmade Christmas tree snowflake and decorate ginger bread cookies. Entering the celebration, our guest will be immersed in an authentic German market with smells of pine trees, freshly grilled bratwurst, and homemade hot apple cider. Music will be provided by the TTU Tuba Euphonium studio and will include traditional German Christmas music.

The ICC is located within easy walking distance of the NRHC at 601 Indiana Avenue.

The Office of International Affairs hosts this annual celebration of German traditions in conjunction with the National Ranching Heritage Center's Candlelight at the Ranch. Guests can sample German food and children can participate in family-friendly activities.
