Sat. 6/15: South Plains Airshow. Slaton Municipal Airport - Texas Air Museum. Gates open at 9am. Show starts at 1pm. Kids under 5 FREE. 12 & under $10. Adults $15.

There will be two gates, north and south of the main entrance. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 kids ages 6 to 12, free for kids under 5 years. They will be able to accept credit/debit cards at the gate.
Only some of the food vendors can accept cards. So, yes, bring cash. Food vendors, oh my, there will be a bunch!
Bring your lawn chair, a hat, sunscreen, but please no canopies. They will block other people's view. Some of you have those chairs with attached umbrellas, I would love one, but make sure you're sitting it to hold it down...wind. Need I say more.
There will be handicap parking at the main gate. They will be able to shuttle people also.
The gates open at 9am, but the show starts at noon. It will last to about 3:30 or 4pm. We won't have a schedule until Saturday, it all depends on when the planes show up. What to do before the show? Eat, check out the indoor and outdoor displays at the air museum. It will be open all day and it's free. Then eat again. Go check out some of the planes and take those pictures, see if you can grab a pilot to pose with. Then grab a snack. Don't forget those drinks. Stay hydrated!!!
There will be programs that highlight the performances and many of the pilots as well as our sponsors. Many thanks to all our sponsors, we could not have done this without you. Programs are $5.

Directions

Slaton Municipal Airport 2 miles north of Slaton on FM 400.

Take Highway 84 to Slaton Exit. Then 2 miles North on FM 400 to Slaton Municipal Airport.
