Come hungry for science! This new event explores the science behind the food we eat! Join the Science Spectrum, South Plains Food Bank, and Texas Tech Department of Food Science & Nutrition, for FREE hands-on food science activities.

Enjoy samples from some of your favorite local businesses and live cooking and food science demonstrations!

Prepare your palate for a hearty spoonful of science! At Taste of Science we will explore the importance of nutrition, and learn where our food comes from, with some healthy educational fun! Explore the mysteries and magic of culinary chemistry. Understand how what we eat is different than animals and other species, and see what some of the Science Spectrum critters like to eat!

Learn about the nutrition in fruits and vegetables and how your food makes it from the farm to your table. Cooking is chemistry, so come hungry for science!
