Harmony Public Schools are non-profit, open enrollment, Texas public schools, free to all students living in their respective independent school districts or surrounding districts. HPS is overseen by the Texas Education Agency and the State Board of Education, and follows the same rules and regulations as any other public school in Texas.

Harmony Public Schools are high performing college preparatory charter schools focusing on math, science, engineering, and computer technologies.

For more than a decade, our schools have provided students from under-served communities the opportunity to excel in their studies in a small classroom environment focused on providing the skills they need to succeed in life.

With a college acceptance rate of 100 percent, Harmony Public Schools have earned the reputation of providing a distinct, high-quality education. Our schools also have the honor of being Texas Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (T-STEM) field pioneer schools.

The Texas Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Initiative (T-STEM) is a public-private initiative of academies, professional development centers, and networks designed to improve the instruction and academic performance in science- and mathematics-related subjects at secondary schools. Harmony has been part of T-STEM since the beginning of the initiative. In fact, there are currently only 91 Texas STEM and 25 of them are Harmony Schools.
